For those who don't like downloading strange disk images onto their systems, the driver needed is for a Prolific PL-2303 chipset. You can get a copy rather easily from Dynex's website but it's quite out of date.
The latest download from the manufacturer (currently version 1.4) is available here: http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?ID=31
There's also a project on Sourceforge that seems fairly current as well: http://osx-pl2303.sourceforge.net/
